Graduate Program
Public Policy Program
The Master of Public Policy program contributes to public service and the field of public policy analysis by advancing understanding of the policy process, and by producing graduates equipped to research, analyze, and inform public policy making. We develop the individual by challenging and assisting each student to reach their professional and academic potential. We strive to create a community that fosters mutual respect, enhanced by a strong partnership between faculty, students, and staff.
The University of Utah MPA program is built on the principles of ethical administration, legal foundations of public service, an appreciation for the the nonprofit sector, and a genuine concern for social equity and justice. We are proudly accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA), the global standard in public service education.
The Master of Science in International Affairs and Global Enterprise (MIAGE) degree is a distinctive program designed to help students build the analytical, political, legal, and sociocultural knowledge needed to solve global issues. Our graduates fill competitive roles within international businesses, government agencies, and NGOs.
This demanding interdisciplinary program trains students in the interaction of business, law, economics, and sociology on the global landscape. Students will learn strategic and operational skills in addition to numerous other skills necessary for global, industry, and country analysis.
